Claire Danes is pregnant.

The ‘Homelands’ actress and her actor husband Hugh Dancy are expecting their first child together, her representative confirmed to PEOPLE.

No further details on the pregnancy have been revealed but it is not expected to have any impact on the production of season two of ‘Homelands’, which starts in September.

Claire – who married Hugh in 2009 – recently revealed she would like a baby, but had no immediate plans.

Last year she said: “There’s definitely a chance, no plans yet, though. But yeah, that’d be fun.”

The 33-year-old star – who has previously dated musician Ben Lee and ‘Almost Famous’ actor Billy Crudup – also revealed how she feels more secure since marrying 37-year-old Hugh.

She said: “My mom Carla taught me that a long marriage can work. My parents have been together since they were 18 so I am privileged to have them as role models.

“I like marriage. I feel very secure. It helps when you are in love with the person you are married to.

“I do sometimes look at him and think, ‘You are really handsome.’ He keeps me sane and happy.”

Gwen Stefani is to host a fundraiser with Michelle Obama.

The No Doubt singer will stage a ‘Family Day’ with the US First Lady at Gwen’s Beverly Hills home on August 12 and a family of four can join the party for $1,000.

A $5,000 donation gets the family extra time with Gwen and Michelle, wife of President Barack Obama.

It is not known whether Gwen’s sons, Kingston, six, and three-year-old Zuma, or Michelle’s daughters, Malia, 14, and 11-year-old Sasha, will be at the event.

The ‘Family Day’ is part of Barack’s re-election campaign, following recent parties co-hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker and George Clooney.

Gwen – who is married to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale – recently has moved decisively into activist philanthropy, donating $1 million to aid children affected by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. She also has staged a series of online auctions of vintage items from her own fashion-forward wardrobe to benefit children’s causes.

Robert Pattinson says Kristen Stewart is the only person who can understand him.

The 26-year-old actor has been dating his ‘Twilight Saga’ co-star for around three years and admits she’s perfect for him because she knows what he’s going through.

He said: “She understands exactly how I feel. She is an ambitious woman who wants to grow as an actress. She has an excellent radar for what is good and challenges me constantly.”

Robert also said it was nice to go to the Cannes Film Festival with 22-year-old Kristen because they could both support each other.

He told Elle Brazil: “In the end, it was amazing to have each other’s support. Her presence at the gala screening of ‘Cosmopolis’ made me really nervous. She was sitting in front of me. I kept looking at the back of her neck, trying to find out if she was liking the movie or not. I only calmed down when, at the end, Kristen told me she loved it.”

While Robert was promoting ‘Cosmopolis’ at the glamorous event in May, Kristen was there for her movie ‘On The Road’.

Katie Holmes is willing to “play tough” against estranged husband Tom Cruise.

The former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actress filed for divorce from the 50-year-old actor last week and she has since hired top lawyer Allan E. Mayefsky as she is determined to get sole custody of the couple’s six-year-old daughter, Suri.

Well-known legal analyst and author Lisa Bloom told website The Daily Beast: “She’s making it clear she’s going to play tough. Cruise is more of a high-profile celebrity than she is, so he has a greater distance to fall if grievances are aired. Everyone has dirty laundry they don’t want aired. She’s saying play fair with me or else. Of course she would choose an experienced and tough lawyer. But the fact that she’d choose someone who’s been known to go to media in the past signals that she might have hired him for that reason.”

Lisa believes Katie – who filed for divorce in New York, where courts are more likely to grant custody of a child to one parent – needed to hire someone tough like Mayefsky as he will be able to compete with Tom’s legal team.

Lisa – who was on the receiving end of Mayefsky and his team when she divorced Phillip J. Smith, chairman of the Shubert Organization – said: “Katie needs cutthroat lawyers because Tom is really powerful. The dirtier the better, so I think she made a good choice. They are known for being ruthless, and they normally win. They beat the sh**t out of me. They make you out to be the biggest piece of trash there is. It took me a long time to get over it.

“Katie has really good, nasty, horrible lawyers and she should do really well.”

The first photograph of Naomi Watts as Princess Diana has been released.

The Australian actress plays the tragic royal – who died in a Paris car crash in 1997 – in the recently re-titled biopic ‘Diana’ and says she is “honoured” to have been cast in the role.

Speaking from the set, Naomi said: “I’m excited and honoured to be playing the role of a truly remarkable woman, who had such a positive and profound impact in so many ways.”

Principal photography started this week on the movie which portrays the last two years of Princess Diana’s life.

Directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, it will explore the princess’s relationship with the heart surgeon Hasnat Khan and her romance with Dodi Fayed, who died in the crash with her.

Ecosse Films said the movie is “a compelling portrait of Diana, Princess of Wales during the final two years of her life. It charts how finding true personal happiness allowed her to achieve her defining successes, as she evolved into a major international campaigner and humanitarian”.

Ecosse Films’ Robert Bernstein and Douglas Rae stated: “We are very excited to be working with such a talented and creative team both in front of and behind the camera. Everyone’s aim is to produce a truly insightful and compassionate study of Diana’s later years.”

Locations for the nine-week shoot will include Croatia, Mozambique, as well as various locations in and around London and the South of England.

The movie was previously titled ‘Caught In Flight’.

Kelly Osbourne ate “crepes with Nutella” every day while on a romantic holiday with her boyfriend.

The ‘Fashion Police’ presenter is dating Matthew Mosshart and she has revealed she had an “amazing anniversary” break with her partner during which they scoffed lots of calorific treats.

Writing in a series of posts on twitter, she said: “Just got back from the most amazing/romantic anniversary weekend getaway with my honey!

“We ate fresh made crepes with Nutella every morning in bed it was #heaven! (sic)”

The pair are believed to have met at Kate Moss’ wedding to The Kills rocker Jamie Hince – who is the bandmate of Matthew’s sister Alison Mosshart – last year but they have tried to keep their romance private, with Kelly only recently confessing the pair were “in love”.

She wrote on twitter: “I’m in love and I don’t care who knows about it!”

The pair only made their first appearance as a couple at a Los Angeles party last month, and he is believed to have impressed her family – which includes mother Sharon, father Ozzy and brother Jack, who was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

A source said: “Matthew is the first guy Kelly has ever brought home that every single one of her friends and family like. And he’s also the first boyfriend with whom she’s had a close relationship with his family.”

Mila Kunis claims there is no “crazy love story” between her and Ashton Kutcher.

The ‘Ted’ actress has been romantically linked to the actor – who split from his wife Demi Moore last year – in recent months, and while she admits they do hang out on a regular basis, she is adamant she is single.

In an interview with ELLE magazine, she said: “I am totally single. Listen [Ashton and I] hang out. We’ve known each other for 15 years, we have mutual friends. We’re comfortable with one another. That’s it! There’s no crazy love story, nothing more. I am very private and I’ve never commented on my personal life.

“The truth is I really am single. I don’t go out because when I do, everybody sees me. It’s like I’m having illicit rendezvous because there’s no such thing as secret in my life.

“And by the way, Justin Timberlake is one of my best friends, to this day, OK? Friends, nothing else!”

Despite being perceived as a tomboy, Mila says she hangs out with her girlfriends more than guys.

The 28-year-old actress – who voices the character Meg Griffin in ‘Family Guy’ – insists she enjoys spending her free time just hanging out with her female pals.

She added: “My best friends are all girls. We get together, watch the game and have a drink. No drama!”

Katy Perry thinks her split from Russell Brand has given her a “second chance at life”.

The ‘Wide Awake’ singer – whose 14-month marriage to the comedian ended in December 2011 – has had a new lease of life since they parted ways and she has no regrets about the past.

Speaking on UK TV show ‘Daybreak’, Katy – who is seen in her new documentary film ‘Katy Perry: Part Of Me 3D’ breaking down in tears because of the split – said: “I am totally cool, yeah. I’m just excited. I do have a second chance at life and, also, I already have a brilliant life and I sometimes need to just remind myself.

“Everything is a lesson learned. Everybody asks me if there are any regrets: no, this is a very valuable lesson. You have to live life in order to achieve those lessons. It was important to me to show the real honest side of me (in the film).”

Katy is now dating Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, but her failed marriage has taught her to think about love in a more realistic way and she doesn’t now expect a fairytale ending.

The 27-year-old singer – who attended the UK premiere of her movie in London on Tuesday night (03.07.12) – explained: “If you lived life without love you wouldn’t be living. I feel like to shut that out of my life just because I’ve had an interesting experience it would be very unfortunate.

“My fairytale has altered, I don’t necessarily need the Prince Charming in order to have the happy ending, I can have the happy ending for myself at this point in time.”
