Elizabeth Hurley has made a birthday cake for Shane Warne’s daughter.

The ‘Bedazzled’ actress – who is engaged to Australian cricket legend – created a special present for his eldest child Brooke, who is turning 15, but was troubled when his youngest daughter, nine-year-old Summer, wanted to eat the remainder of mixture.

She wrote on twitter: “Making a birthday cake for SW’s elder daughter. Fighting over scraping out the bowl with the younger one…..(sic)”

It is not the first time in the last week Elizabeth – who has 10-year-old son Damian with ex-boyfriend Steve Bing – has treated Shane’s children and she gave Summer a bag full of gifts from Japanese cartoon range Hello Kitty.

She said: “Just gift wrapped huge pile of Hello Kitty cushions and bedlinen for@warne888′s younger daughter.(sic)”

Elizabeth’s efforts do not go unappreciated by Shane, who is enjoying having all his family – including Brooke, Summer, and his son Jackson, 13 – over in the UK at the moment.

He tweeted: “Great to have Brooke,Jackson & Summer in England with me & EH.. Also lovely that Mum & dad are here too…(sic)”

However, Elizabeth was recently warned about her parental behaviour by Shane’s ex-wife Simone Callahan who said she was being “disrespectful” after her children began calling the British actress “mummy two”.

She said: “I can’t control what people say, but it’s just disrespectful as far as I’m concerned.

“She is not their mum. And the kids know exactly what the situation is.”

One of Madonna’s tour trucks has overturned in Sweden.

The ‘Girls Gone Wild’ singer is currently working her way across Europe on her ‘MDNA’ tour, but things were thrown into crisis earlier today (03.07.12) after a vehicle carrying the sound system for the concerts overturned, damaging equipment and injuring at least one person.

The truck was driving toward Gothenburg in the South West of the country at the time of the accident, during rush hour, and the crash blocked parts of the highway.

Police said three cars were damaged, and equipment was thrown into the road.

It is not yet known if the accident will affect the singer’s scheduled show in Gothenburg tomorrow (04.07.12) night.

Christopher Akesson, a spokesman for Live Nation, the tour’s organiser, told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “We are working to prepare for the concert.

“I suspect that if there was anything serious, we would have had information about it by this time.”

Earlier in the tour, it emerged that Madonna has a “sterilisation team” who wipe away any DNA in her dressing room after shows on the tour.

Concert promoter Álvaro Ramos, who oversaw the Portuguese leg of her dates, said: “We have to take extreme care, like I have never seen for any other artist. We cannot even look at the dressing room, after it is ready, or even open the door.

“We can only enter after her sterilisation team has left the room. There will not be any of Madonna’s DNA, any hair, or anything. They will clean up everything. In the end it is all to protect her and make her feel comfortable.

“I do understand it, but it is taken to extremes.”

Katy Perry’s friends are glad she split from Russell Brand.

The ‘Teenage Dream’ hitmaker and the British comic parted in December after just 14 months of marriage but the singer’s close pal and stylist Johnny Wujek says she is happier than ever.

He said: “She’s so much happier since she and Russell ended. She’s not miserable at all. We’re all really happy for her.

“It was the right decision that the marriage ended. Life’s good and her career is killing it. She’s a free woman and she can do whatever she wants.”

Katy has been romantically linked with Florence + the Machine guitarist Rob Ackroyd and French model Baptiste Giabiconi since splitting from Russell but Johnny insists she is just having a good time.

He told LOOK magazine: “She’s just a girl having fun. That’s what these guys, Rob and Baptiste, popping up in her life are all about.”

And Johnny – who has worked with Katy for five years – says his 27-year-old pal definitely wants to have a family in the future.

He said: “She loves children. We were talking about the future and kids recently. When the time’s right, she’ll think about becoming a mother.”

Natalie Portman will reportedly marry fiance Benjamin Millepied next month.

Despite reports claiming the couple – who have a 12-month-old son, Aleph, together – had already tied the knot earlier this year, friends say the nuptials will take place in Big Sur, California, on August 5.

One told America’s In Touch magazine: “Natalie and Ben will marry in Big Sur. It’s one of Natalie’s favourite places – whenever she needs a break from LA she goes there.”

Just 60 guests will be invited to the ceremony and the couple want the event to be as laid-back as possible.

The friend added: “This wedding is for their closest friends and family. It will be a very relaxed affair. They’re not sending out invites. Natalie may not even buy a new dress!”

Natalie met choreographer Benjamin on the set of ‘Black Swan’ in 2009 and they got engaged in December 2010.

When she won the Best Actress Oscar for the film in 2011, she paid tribute to Benjamin, calling him her “beautiful love” and thanked him for giving her the “most important role of my life”.

She gave birth to their first child in June 2011 and at this year’s Academy Awards there was speculation they had already tied the knot as they both wore bands on their wedding ring fingers.

Katie Holmes had reportedly grown tired of Tom Cruise always putting work before family.

The former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actress – who filed for divorce from the 50-year-old actor last week – was said be fed up with how Tom was often away from home and never made her or their six-year-old daughter, Suri, his priority.

A source said: “They had problems for a while. His career came first, and Katie was no longer happy. She wanted him to stay home and spend time together. But Tom has always been a movie star, he knows nothing else. This is a good father and good husband, when present, but … the work comes first.”

Katie, 33, was also keen for little Suri to have a normal childhood and knew if she stayed with Tom she wouldn’t be able to because he is such a big follower of the controversial religion Scientology.

The source added to E! Online: “She left him because she wanted a better life for herself and her daughter. Suri has no friends. She has no normal life, and it became increasingly obvious, as she got older.

“Katie wants a project where she will remain in a fixed location, where Suri will go to school, have friends, meet children to play, all these things she doesn’t do right now. Katie was unhappy in her marriage, so she decided to end it so that her daughter had a happier life.”

It has been claimed Katie left Tom as she feared he wanted to send Suri to a boot camp for the cult religion.

Rihanna has flown back to Barbados to be with her mother following the death of her grandmother.

The ‘We Found Love’ hitmaker was left devastated by the passing of Clara ‘Dolly’ Braithwaite pver the weekend so has jetted back to her home country to spend time with her family.

She tweeted a picture of herself about to board a private plane and accompanied the shot with the caption: “Coming home to squeeze ya mama. (sic)”

Rihanna’s decision to fly home came after she pulled out of the Rock In Rio festival.

The ‘S&M’ singer was due to perform at the event in Madrid, Spain, on Thursday (05.07.12) but cancelled her headline appearance following the death of her beloved grandmother.

Organisers of the festival confirmed they are trying to book a replacement for the grieving star but are also offering fans refunds.

Her performance at this weekend’s Wireless Festival in London’s Hyde Park is still scheduled to go ahead.

Following the death of her grandmother, Rihanna – who went ahead with a performance in Sweden after hearing the news – paid tribute to her relative on twitter.

She wrote: “Goodbye grangranDolly get your beauty rest until I see you. grangranDolly that is all.”

Charlie Sheen no longer feels drained by his work.

The 46-year-old actor was sacked from his old TV show, ‘Two and a Half Men’, last year following his erratic behaviour and drug abuse but he insists he is now in a much better place, especially with his new series, ‘Anger Management’.

He said: “This whole thing is like a return to innocence for me. I feel younger. I feel like I’m finally involved with something that is nourishing and not debilitating, not draining.”

After being fired by ‘Two and a Half Men’ creator Chuck Lorre, Charlie initially slated him at every opportunity he had, but admits he’s now learnt that’s not a wise idea.

He said: “I’ve turned it around where I didn’t get fired, I got traded. I’ve learnt to stick with what you know and don’t take your dirty laundry public. Out of respect, keep that s**t under wraps.”

The father-of-five – who was replaced by Ashton Kutcher – says he was determined to get another TV comedy as he didn’t want to be remembered for getting sacked because of his crazy lifestyle.

Speaking at a press conference in Beverly Hills, Charlie said: “My legacy could not be what happened at the end of ‘Two and a Half Men’. When it went icky at the end, I couldn’t have that be what everybody remembered. I wanted to do something that was more about me, who I was as a person, as an actor, and just something that felt more like a warm hug than a snake bite.”

Kelly Clarkson celebrated her 30th birthday by going turkey shooting.

The ‘Stronger’ singer reached the milestone age in April but rather than have a big party, she and her boyfriend Brandon Blackstock went hunting instead.

She said: “I just had my 30th birthday and we went turkey shooting. It’s what I wanted to do, so we went.”

Kelly also admitted she is amused by rumours about her sexuality, but is hopeful her current relationship will put them to rest.

She laughed to Lucky magazine: “Oh, there’s all these rumours that I’m a lesbian. Anyway. I have a boyfriend now, Brandon Blackstock, my manager Narvel’s son, Reba McEntire’s stepson.”

Kelly – who shot to fame after winning the first series of ‘American Idol’ – admitted she sometimes struggles with perceptions about being a “pop star” and fighting against the “rules” to do the things she wants.

She said: “The hardest thing about being in this business is just being able to be yourself.

“People act like there’s this one set of rules to follow to be a pop star, and I think, Well, you say I’m a pop star, so maybe that’s not true.”
