Paris Hilton had to turn down a guest role in the finale of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’.
The hotel heiress was asked by producers of the hit reality TV show to appear alongside her aunts, Kyle and Kim Richards, but she was forced to decline because she is out of the country on business.
A source said: “Paris was asked to be a part of the finale which will take place in mid-July. She is a big fan of the show and totally supports her family appearing on it, but had to decline because she will be out of the country. Paris will be extremely busy promoting her new album, and just has too much going on right now to commit to taking on anymore projects.”
Kyle and Kim were also disappointed Paris couldn’t take part as they know she would have been a hit.
The source added to RadarOnline.com: “Producers were hopeful Paris would be able to be a part of the finale, which they could have promoted and publicised. Paris definitely would have greatly bolstered the ratings for the finale, but, her schedule just couldn’t accommodate it. Paris’ aunts, Kim and Kyle also wanted her to be on the show, but they completely understand.”
Mel Gibson allegedly spat in his stepmother’s face.
Teddy Joye Hicks Gibson – who married Mel’s father Hutton Gibson in 2001 – has requested a restraining order against the ‘Lethal Weapon’ actor, claiming he had threatened her and tried to sabotage her marriage.
In legal documents, obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, Teddy, 78, claims Mel and his sister Maura despise her because she doesn’t approve of the controversial medical treatments they’ve been pressuring Hutton to undergo to treat his various illnesses.
In the documents, Teddy alleges Mel and Maura manipulated their ailing father into filing for divorce as she says Hutton is a devout Catholic who doesn’t believe in it. She also claimed 93-year-old Hutton recently penned her a love note saying: “Our mutual love is permanent.”
She also alleges Mel is trying to force her out of her home because it’s owned by a charity that Mel controls.
As a result Teddy wanted a judge to stop Mel from doing that and prevent him from interfering with her attempts to communicate with her husband.
She also wanted him to keep 100 yards away from her at all times.
However, the judge in California has decided that instead of issuing a
temporary restraining order, a full hearing will take place next month.
Hutton filed for divorce last month.

The reality TV star – who is currently dating Kanye West – admits she dreams of what it would be like to walk down the aisle once she gets into a new romance.
Kim – who is in the process of divorcing her second husband Kris Humphries – said: “I’ve always been the type to fall in love fast and, with every
boyfriend, I plan out my wedding in my head.”
However, following the breakdown of her union to Kris last October after just 72 days of marriage, Kim says she has now learnt to slow things down.
She said: “It has taught me to take things slow.”
The 31-year-old beauty also claims her failed marriages and relationships haven’t put her off love.
She told Britain’s InStyle magazine: “I’ve always believed in love. I haven’t always been so lucky, but I still do believe in it. Anyone would want to move on and take the lesson learnt from it.
“I loved this person, it just wasn’t the right situation for me. I try to hold my head up high and live my life.”
Alec Baldwin wanted to kill ex-wife Kim Basinger’s lawyer “with a baseball bat”.
The ’30 Rock’ star – who married second wife Hilaria Thomas on Saturday (30.06.12) – endured a famously acrimonious divorce from his former spouse in 2002 and he admits he harboured murderous thoughts about her legal representative.
Despite the anger he felt towards Kim and her lawyer, Alec confessed to Vanity Fair magazine that their relationship is now “cordial” and the pair speak “from time to time” about their 16-year-old daughter Ireland.
On April 11, 2007, the actor left an angry voicemail message in response to an unanswered arranged call with his daughter in which he called her a “rude, thoughtless little pig” and gossip website TMZ.com released the tape.
At the time, Alec would have liked to “gut” TMZ founder Harvey Levin for posting the recording on his website.
He fumed: “I wanted to stick a knife in him and gut him and kill him, and I wanted him to die breathing his last breath looking into my eyes.”
The 54-year-old star blamed his anger issues on his career, saying: “You know, Hollywood does draw some very strange characters, and then the power of Hollywood and what they can do with it becomes like a blood sport to
Although he didn’t think he would marry again after his split with Kim, Alec revealed he couldn’t help falling for Hilaria, who he credits with putting him on a diet and keeping him away from alcohol.
He said: “I thought, I’m probably never going to meet somebody like this again, and so I decided I would get married … which is kind of mind-blowing to me.”
Nicki Minaj finds it “empowering” to sign her female fans’ breasts.
The ‘Starships’ singer is often asked to scrawl her signature across boobs when she meets her admirers and she has no problem inking someone’s bust.
She is quoted as saying: “I think boobs are very empowering – and signing them is even more empowering.
“I’ve been doing it for years. Wherever I go, I sign boobs.”
Nicki will even sign men’s chests if they want and finds it “funny” if the guys aren’t in shape and have ‘moobs’ – male breasts.

Robbie Williams has pulled out of the Olympics closing ceremony because of the impending birth of his first daughter.
The 38-year-old singer’s wife Ayda Field is due to give birth in August and although Robbie was set to perform solo and possibly with Take That, he has not backed out leaving organisers with a scheduling nightmare.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Robbie quit a few weeks ago. He had been lined up to perform solo material and it was hoped he would sing with Take That.
“However, just as rehearsals were kicking off, he said there was an unfortunate clash of dates. It meant organisers had to adjust the entire schedule because Robbie is an extremely high-profile performer and had been given such an important role in the finale.
“A lot of the organisers are now very unhappy. It’s such a huge moment for British music and they thought they had the perfect line-up.
“Obviously Robbie has to put his family commitments first. It’s just a shame he didn’t realise earlier.”
A spokesman for Robbie said: “He was asked to do the closing ceremony but due to the imminent birth of his baby, he couldn’t take part.”
The two-and-a-half hour ceremony at London’s Olympic Park will feature George Michael, The Who. Emeli Sande and Take That.
